We are within easy walking distance of University College Cork, Wilton Shopping Centre, The Bon Secours and Cork University Hospitals, so we attract pupils from far and near. Due to our proximity to UCC (only 250 metres from the new Medical/Nursing School and UCC créche) and the fact that we are now part of the Bridging the Gap Project, we enjoy a very close association with the university. Many parents who work in Cork city centre also bring their children to school en route to work. Due to the increased availability of accommodation in the surrounding areas, with further developments nearing completion, many new residents are choosing this area because of the marvellous convenience it offers.
